Welcome to Vergennes UMC.  I became the pastor of this wonderful community of faith in July of 2010.  We (my wife, Amy and daughter, Elizabeth) are enjoying being back in the Grand Rapids area (I was raised in Jenison) and the Lowell Community.   If you are looking for a place for you and your family to explore the Christian faith in an authentic, loving environment with a rich history (we’ve been here 168 years) and contemporary significance you’ve found the right place.   We have something for all ages, and you are always welcome.


If you get a chance, peruse some of my thoughts below or listen to one of my messages, or find what all the hubbub is about with our recent church expansion to make room for our children and youth (and adults too)!
